So, this week I'm starting exams... though it's not so bad. I don't feel that worried, but I probably should be a little worried. I'm too calm, and it's kinda freaking me out...

oh well...
My project is coming along well, so far I'm still planning out the designs of what I'm making. The actual process might be during the winter break, but I'll have to check first. Don't remember if I already said what I was making... so I'll say it now (if I already did... then oh well...) I'm making a whole Chess set. So all the chess pieces are going to be hand made, either from clay or from wood. I haven't decided on the material just yet, something that isn't too too hard to work with. I worked with carving wood a few years ago, which was surprisingly a lot of fun as long as what I wanted came out of it. My Christmas list will probably have all the material needed to make it. I think it's called Balsa wood or something...? I feel too lazy to look it up now... yeah I think it's that. I hope the prices are reasonable or else I'll have to buy some of it on my own time and end up being broke. (I don't need that again, I already don't have that much money to begin with...) I need to set up a budget, spend within that and somehow come out with my idea.
Hopefully I have the designs up to show soon, but they aren't final.
I thought of using various animals and making them slightly Gothic Lolita, mainly rabbits and the King and Queen might actually be two little handmade people in gothic lolita clothing. (Don't ask how I'll do it, I'll come up with something.) Either way, I'm hoping this'll work since I might get bonus points for doing this.
As for the chess board itself, I think I'll change it up a little. Add to it so it doesn't look like an ordinary board, I want it to look special.
Maybe different colors instead of having just plain and ordinary black and white.
I'm expecting this to take a while, really long actually. Maybe until the end of the year, since I have to make time for this. Since all the pieces are different and unique, (the pawns don't all look the same, they're all Rabbits but have different designs on them.) so it'll be a lot of work to make them looks right.
The pawns are seriously my favorite, I had them all look different, but all the same size so people know their pawns. I think the pawns are the only ones I actually have planned out and ready to go. I have to make doubles of each and paint them different colors. I'm not sure if the paint would work with the wood but I'll ask about it. Sadly, I don't think anybody will be playing with my set. Since most of them have fragile looking parts, and the main idea was just to display this and use it for photography. Though it looks easy since I'm drawing them first and being creative about it, they will most likely go through many changes and my plans will probably end up becoming something else.
Well either way, if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated greatly! Anything on what material I should use or what tools would help!

I'm also working on my new story, which I'll put the first chapter up so people can see.
I finished one version of it, which turned out to be almost 200 pages long... but then I decided that I hated it and wanted to completely change it. It made me feel angry at myself, since I worked my entire summer on it and it turned out bad and not the way I wanted at all! But those things happen a lot probably, so I sat down and planned it all out and started writing. All my characters are the same, except for a few added who make my story make much more sense than it did.
I have my main character, Miki Hills.
The other main character or an important character: Thalia Lily Woods. (Based off of my actual Best Friend)
And then the rest, who I adore so much. I admit, my favorite character is far from being the main. It's actually two characters that originally started as only one, the Twins. There was only one of them, then I thought "Why not add more humor? Add another version of him, (who is different of course!) and then we have twins!"
It turned out, that when I have both of them together it makes the story more interesting than before. Luckily both have a planned part for them, and so do some of the other characters that have roles in the story.
I think this story will be long, but I have to go through the main people for the story to actually make sense. Each person has something to do with the other. The twins and two others have something to do with the main character Miki.
You'll seee! When I upload one chapter, I might upload another.
I'm planning on making this really good so that one day I can perhaps get published.
I'm in no rush, but I want to see where this story might take me!

WAIT! I FORGOT... it snowed last night XD
We're expecting 20 cm on Wednesday! I like snow, it's amusing to watch fall... (sadly it's one of my secret hobbies, which isn't much of a secret now that I wrote it...) I find it pretty, and Winter is my favorite season. I should have been born in the Winter, but NOOOOO it had to be the Fall. Ah well, it's still nice to finally see it after a long and hot summer!


NOW I'm finished.
